Good morning Bloggers!
so..heres my gripe of the day. Time Warner Cable. Our wireless has been out 3 times in the past week and is once again out! grr Now, this poses 2 problems, 1. our other computer is downstairs in the den, away from the rest of the house, with 2 kids I can't leave them alone. And those that have kids know this, that they can't be alone for -any- stretch of time. and 2. the den computer is wonkey. completely, utterly, wonkey. shuts off while your typing, ect. Plus, I have my pretty pink laptop, that I *heart* so mucho! :-)
well, now that that gripe is over, onto more business.
I think big daddy and I have figured out the problem with our kids. Our kids share a room, youngest goes to sleep no problem, then when oldest comes in for bed she wakes up her sister and they play and cause trouble and generally be a pain and it didn't use to be like this. They wreak havoc for a couple hours then pass out. which doesnt fly in my book because they wake up at the same flippin time, every..single..day. ( o'dark thirty to be exact) so bc they are staying up late they wake up with attitudes.
They've had a consistant bedtime routine since day 1, they nap no more than 2 hrs a day, if that, and cutting naptime short doesn't help bc then I just have 2 kids over tired screaming at me until bedtime, and lets be honest, my nerves can't take that, I am very strict about their bedtimes and have been since day 1, so thats why it didn't make any sense to me. So last night BD and I were talking and..DUH...When Lillia was a baby we could not bathe her before bed bc it made her wound up and she wouldnt sleep. sooo guess what we have been doing the past couple weeks........bathing her at night, bc its just easier to have help from BD when bathing two kids and gettign them dressed, ect. uhm..DUH..dumb parenting moment of the gentury! We totally forgot and would just give her a bath before bed, hence why she doesn't go to sleep, bc she's so wound up from her bath. no more baths for that chicka..well at night anyways!
well bloggin babes, kids are screamin for breakfast! Time for momma to clock in!

Easter fun!
What up blogging world??
If you haven't seen What about the Morgans, I reccomend it. Good movie!! Stayed up way too late last night watching it, but worth the watch! I'm not normally a Sara Jessica Parker fan, but she was tolerable in it. :-)
Had a great afternoon. Met our fabulous friends at the park with our kids, had a picnic with our husbands then let the kids run around and play and wear themselves out. I *heart* our friends! Fabulous couple with 2 girls the same age as ours! Perfect match. Now here I sit, both kids asleep, worn out from the park. Lovely bliss!!!
We have a huge weekend coming up. Thursday we are taking the girls to the Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt! I'm so excited! Its the first year Lillia is old enough to actually get it! Easter bunny, food, face painting, then the easter egg hunt! YAY!
Then Saturday we are going to a little town called Mart, Tx. for my Aunt and Uncles annual Easter get together! I'm thrilled! Family, good food, fabulous!
Then Easter Sunday, verdict is still out on exactly what we will be doing, but we will be with above friends for good food, easter egg hunts and just a great time!
And to top it all off, my husband has a 4 day weekend! YIPPIE!
Was going to do Baked potatoes and Caesar salad for dinner, but at 85 degrees I am -not- about to heat up my oven for an hr. no way Jose. So I think we'll go with Fet. Alfredo wtih Shrimp on top and a Caesar salad. Will do the baked potatoes tomorrow in the crockpot *thanks mom for sharing that recipe!!!*
Well blogging buddies, I have housework piling up around me and while its quiet and the kids are asleep, I am going to try to tackle it!
Peace!

10's
Things that make me happy:
1. baking
2. reading
3. my children
4. my husband
5. flowers
6. fresh cut grass
7. listening to my daughter say "max and wooby"
8. cooking for my family
9. freshly painted toenails
10. getting tattoos
10 things I want to do:
1. go to a tanning salon, I haven't got up the nerve yet, I think I need a partner
2. get tattoos for both my daughters
3. get red highlights in my hair
4. write a book
5. lose 15lbs
6. start the fake nail cycle once again :)
7. go back to Tucson
8. get a girl dog :)
9. get a really cool swoopy SUV
10. eat another Fudge Snickers *YUM!*
I often wonder why I'm so 'scared' do to the things I want to do. It's not like they are earth shattering or dangerous. If they arent dangerous or anything then why am I scared? What is stopping me from doing them? well, money for one. Why spend that money on me when I can spend it on my kids, or husband? I'm happy without all those things. Sure, doing those things would make me happy too, but I'm already happy. make sense? It's frankly quite crazy if you ask me. The fact that I havent gotten up the nerve to do those things yet. Secondly, time. I'm busy from 6am until 8pm with kids, cleaning, laundry, ect. Then I choose to spend the time from 8-whenever we go to bed, with my husband, and don't get me wrong, I WANT to spend that time with him. Theres nothing more I love than being with my husband.
I think this blog should be titled "The journey of one Stay at home mom trying to find herself again" lol
maybe next weekend I'll go get red highlights in my hair. maybe. we'll see.

First Day of the Rest of my Life
Welcome to my blog..I've been wanting to start a blog for awhile now but just haven't got up the 'nerve', so to speak. I've always loved writing. I remember as a child going into my closet and hiding out all afternoon and I would just write and write. I wrote stories, I dreamed of one day writing my own book, I wrote poems, I wrote it all, and I loved it.
so, let me start my telling you a little about me and my fam.
First, let me start with my amazing husband Josh, We've been married 5 yrs this June. I can't believe 5yrs have gone so fast. He's a soldier in the U.S Army *hooah hooah* and I couldn't be more proud. He's everything I didn't know I wanted.
Next, my crazy girl, Lillia. She'll be 3 this August, Can't believe it, almost 3! Shes one big ball of goofy and energy, but she has the kindest soul and is such a sweetheart.
Next, my babygirl, Allana, will be 2 this December. Shes so sweet and just your average Blond Hair, blue eyed sweetheart. Loves everybody and everything.
Now me, I'm Erica, a stay at home mom and I love it, I wouldn't change it for the world. My interests for the past 3 yrs have basically been being pregnant and having babies, but, now my babies are not babies anymore, so its time for momma to find herself again. Hence, why I started this blog. I also love reading and collecting books. I love reading autobiographies and fiction.
Well, all for now, its Sunday and I am going to go spend time with my husband and princesses!
